Recently, SPTI signed a project for R&D and production of nitrogen protection devices and automated handling equipment in the Pukou Economic Development Zone, with an investment of 20 million U.S. dollars, to provide nitrogen protection devices for integrated circuit enterprises.
SPTI is a company that provides nitrogen protection devices for TSMC, Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC), and other well-known wafer manufacturers in the wafer manufacturing process and transportation. With a total investment of 20 million U.S. dollars and covering an area of 30 acres, SPTI’s project will focus on developing ultra-clean inflation system technology used in semiconductor wafer manufacturing, and providing customized automation product design services to improve the productivity of semiconductor plants.
“The signing of the project marks that the development zone’s integrated circuit industry chain is constantly improving,” said the responsible person of the Pukou Economic Development Zone. Relying on TSMC, Tsinghua Unisplendour, and other key projects, the development zone will continue to “build the largest integrated circuit industry cluster in China” and a 100-billion-yuan-level integrated circuit industry.
