located in Yuhua District, south Nanjing and designed to cover a total area of 70 square kilometers, it is in proximity to one of the world's largest transport hub, Nanjing South Railway Station and is 19 kilometers away from Nanjing Lukou International Airport.
The first Software Avenue in China has been completed in the Valley where more than 260 nationally and internationally known software corporations such as IBM-licensed China Software Training Center, Dell, ZTE, Huawei, Neusoft R&D, CETC No. 14 Research Institute, TrendMicro and VanceInfo have established business with a floor area of above 2 million square meters. Engaging over 50,000 people in the software industry, corporations along the Avenue jointly output an annual value of more than USD8.3 billion in 2011, and have shaped three major business clusters involving communication software, software outsourcing and information service industries. It has won honorary titles including the National Torch Program Modern Communication Software Industrial Base, the National Service Outsourcing Pilot Zone, the National-level Hi-tech Enterprise Incubator and the National-level Digital Publication Base.
Its focuses include: 1. communication software, Internet services and service outsourcing; 2. cloud computing, financial services and TMT; and 3. foundational software, the Internet of things, tri-networks integration and industrial informatization software.
Its goal for 2015 is: to realize yearly revenue of USD35 billion from the software and information service industry, to complete the construction of 12-million-square-meter buildings for the software industry and to introduce 400,000 software talents.
